How Far in Advance Should You Book Strippers?
Strippers in Houston are a stripper booking agency in Houston, TX. We send dancers out to Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands and everywhere between, seven nights a week.
The short answer is a week. The useful answer depends on four things, and getting them right is the difference between booking the dancer you wanted and taking whoever is left.
THE SHORT VERSION
Often possible and always worth a call. Weeknights are realistic. Saturdays are a coin flip and you take who is free.
Comfortable for one dancer on a weeknight. Enough to have a genuine choice rather than a default.
The sweet spot for most bookings. A weekend night, a specific dancer, or a two-girl show all fit inside this.
Saturday nights, three-dancer shows, male dancers, and anything where you have a named performer in mind.
Graduation weekends in May, the stretch from Thanksgiving to New Year’s, and any weekend colliding with a major event downtown.
WHICH NIGHT YOU WANT
This matters more than everything else combined. A Tuesday in February and a Saturday in May are not the same booking and never will be.
Weeknights are genuinely open. Call the same afternoon and there is a good chance we can send someone that evening. Friday and Saturday are a different business — those nights fill from Wednesday onward, and by Friday afternoon you are choosing from whoever has not been booked yet rather than from the full roster.
If your date has any flexibility at all, a Thursday or a Sunday gets you a better dancer for less money and considerably less stress.
HOW MANY DANCERS YOU NEED
One dancer is one schedule to line up. Two is two, and they have to be free on the same night at the same hour. Three is exponentially harder.
Two-girl shows are our most requested upgrade and the thing people leave too late. If your bachelor party is over ten guys — and it should have two dancers if it is — give us two weeks rather than two days. Some of our dancers work together regularly and have routines built around each other, and those pairings book out first.
WHETHER YOU WANT A SPECIFIC DANCER
Here is the part most people do not realise. Our dancers have families, day jobs and lives outside this. Any individual performer might be out of town, at work, or with her kids on the night you have picked.
So if you have gone through the roster and settled on one name, you need real lead time. A week minimum, two if it is a weekend.
If you bring us three to five names in preference order instead, we go down the list and confirm someone while you are still on the phone. That is why we ask for a shortlist rather than a single name — it is not us being difficult, it is the thing that gets your booking confirmed on the first call.
The single best thing you can do: pick three to five dancers you would be happy with, flag your top one or two, and call. That one step turns a two-day back-and-forth into a three-minute phone call.
MALE DANCERS BOOK EARLIER
Worth its own section because it catches people out. Male strippers are harder to lock in last-minute than female dancers, and the reason is straightforward — most of them are juggling other work, and the bachelorette parties they get booked for tend to be planned weeks ahead rather than thrown together on the night.
A week is the floor. For a Saturday in wedding season, give us two.
WHERE YOU ARE IN THE METRO
Distance eats into your booking window in a way people do not expect. A dancer heading to Midtown can leave twenty minutes before she is due. A dancer heading to The Woodlands is looking at an hour up 45, longer if there is anything on at the Pavilion.
Same-night bookings out in the far suburbs are possible, but the call has to come earlier in the evening. A midnight dispatch to an address an hour north is not realistic no matter how much notice you think midnight counts as. Check the service areas page if you are unsure where your address falls.
THE WEEKENDS THAT BOOK OUT
Some dates fill weeks ahead and no amount of calling around fixes it on the day.
Graduation weekends across May. The whole run from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve. Super Bowl weekend. Any weekend with a major event downtown pulling people into the city. And the Saturday before a long weekend, every time.
If your party lands on one of those, book it the moment you have a date.
WHAT ABOUT SAME-NIGHT?
We take same-night bookings constantly and they are a real part of what we do. The party that was going to be quiet, the group that changed its mind at ten o’clock, the guy who forgot it was his friend’s last weekend as a single man.
Call. The answer is often yes. Just understand what you are trading — you get whoever is available rather than whoever you wanted, and on a Saturday that pool is small by nine o’clock. Same-night is a fallback, not a plan.
WHAT TO HAVE READY WHEN YOU CALL
The date and start time. The address or cross streets. Roughly how many guests. How many dancers you want. And three to five names from the roster.
With those five things the whole booking takes about three minutes, whether you are calling three weeks out or three hours out.
